The Evolution of Bandana Collar

From the beginning, Wildebeest's mission has been to create unique design-driven pet products. The Bandana Collar has served this mission to a tee as a beloved Wildebeest signature for the past 5 years.

Always having loved the fun, outdoorsy style of a bandana around a dog's neck, we wanted to find the best way to execute the look while integrating it into a functional everyday collar. After prototyping and testing a couple dozen variations, we've arrived at the Bandana Collar as we know it. (Pictured is one of the first prototypes of the Bandana Collar from 2011)

From the aesthetic detail such as the offset tips of the reversible bandana to the functional features like the quick-release buckle and adjustable collar... this product was meticulously designed so it's easy to use while offering an understated style that suits any dog. And made locally in California to ensure the best quality.

Wildebeest is teaming up with our friends at Alite Designs to create the Beest to the Beach Bag! A San Francisco local company, Alite believes spending time outside is good for the soul, and makes getting outside easier and more fun by making beginner friendly camping gear.

The Beest to the Beach Bag is loaded with functional features from Alite’s original Bike to the Beach Bag. We’ve upgraded this classic with a few Wildebeest elements to make it perfect for a day trip with your dog.
